This project for the Programmer – Data Reporting is to assist the client with federal reporting requirements. Current coding processes and reporting cannot be validated. The coding and reporting requirements will have to be rewritten using current industry standards, with business rules and revisions documented.
 
This position is that of an individual contributor, a quantitative analyst role with responsibility for researching, developing, and maintaining statistical reporting models in R.
 
Onsite – Jackson, MS
 
Responsibilities:

  • The contractor must have hands-on R programming knowledge; statistical background and understanding – 5+ years
  • Ability to build and deliver robust statistical models – 5+ years
  • Deliver high-quality documentation and presentations to support and maintain model and library use – 5+ years
  • Able to interact with functional and technical consultants to ensure successful model building and deployment – 5+ years
  • Development and back testing – 5+ years
  • Deployment – 5+ years
  • UAT – 5+ years
  • Windows 7 – 1+ years
  • Windows 10 – 1+ years
  • R Language – 5+ years
  • R Studio – 5+ years
  • SQL Manager – 5+ years
  • SQL Language – 5+ years
  • R Development/Programming – 5+ years
  • SQL – 5+ years
  • ADABAS/Natural – 1+ years
  • Agile – 1+ years
  • Power BI – 1+ years
  • Able to work independently

 
Criteria:

  • Advanced proficiency in R (statistical modeling, data manipulation, scripting, reproducible reporting) – 20%
  • Experience developing and validating statistical reporting models – 15%
  • Knowledge of federal reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements – 15%
  • Ability to rewrite legacy coding processes using current industry standards – 15%
  • Documentation of business rules, methodologies, and revision history – 10%
  • Data validation, quality assurance, and audit trail development – 10%
  • Quantitative research and analytical problem-solving skills – 10%
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor – 5%
  • Communication skills (translating technical findings for non-technical stakeholders) – 5%
  • Version control, reproducibility practices, and structured model governance – 5%
