Join us at Capital University’s Convergent Media Center on June 27th. We are excited to have Martha presenting on usability. We are also working on more content, so please check back.

Martha Lindeman’s presentation will provide a treasure map for increasing your success. Usability works by helping people more easily achieve their goals.

The same principles for designing the usability of new technologies apply to creating relationships with other people. The focus is on results, and what you need to know to achieve the results you want. In this talk the technology focus is how to increase usability for VR systems and other advanced technologies. These include robotics, wearable computing, and the internet of things.  Questions addressed during the talk include: Where to start? What’s the path to success? Which usability design strategy to use? How to build your bridge to success? Where to find design info for specific technologies?

Martha received her Ph.D. in psychology from Harvard in 1985, and immediately started a full-time contract for a military project involving aircraft designers. Since then her client list ranges from AT&T to Xerox, with other well-known names from industry and government. Her specialty is converting complex and difficult conceptual problems into interactive computer systems that are easy to learn and use.
