Join us as David Friedenberg, Ph.D., Principal Research Scientist at Battelle, talks about the data analysis challenges associated with the Battelle NeuroLife™ Neural Bypass Technology, which aims to enable a paralyzed patient to regain movement in his hand and fingers using his thoughts alone. He will discuss some of the data analysis and visualization challenges involved in creating the system, including processing large volumes of neural data (3,000,000 samples/sec) in real time, feature engineering, algorithms, and performance optimization.
