Please join us Thursday, June 9, from 11:00 am to noon for Startup CBUS: Behind the Scenes Look at Ardina, a Funded Startup
Program: Have you ever wondered how some companies grow their business AND get the capital to do so? Shaun Young, founder and CEO of Ardina, talks candidly about how he went from corporate life to founder of a disruptive healthcare company.
In this open, informal discussion, Rev1 Ventures’ Chief Marketing Officer, Kristy Campbell, will interview Shaun to learn:
· What inspired him to found Ardina
· How he accessed services and funding from the region – including Rev1 Ventures
· His “hindsight is 2020” lessons for overcoming startup traps
· Why Columbus is a great place to start a business
Presenter: Shaun Young is a pharmacist turned entrepreneur with a goal of making healthcare more affordable for every American. Having spent time at corporate leaders, such as Kaiser Permanente, Eli Lilly, Walmart, and Cardinal Health, Shaun has seen how healthcare works from the inside and founded Ardina to bring his expertise to consumers. Shaun has his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific and MBA from Harvard Business School.
Ardina (www.myardina.com) provides healthcare benefits that you can actually afford to use. They’ve created an online marketplace for healthcare services, such as telemedicine, prescriptions, dental, vision, and chiropractor, for consumers to access 24/7 with their Ardina membership. Think of them like the “AAA for healthcare.”
