Want to learn more about social entrepreneurship, network with like-minded innovators, or just celebrate the movers and shakers in our community? Join us as we celebrate the debut of 12 home-grown social enterprises spurring change in our neighborhoods and beyond.
The SEA Change Accelerator Pitch Day will showcase the latest cohort of SEA Change, a Northeast Ohio-based social enterprise accelerator that combines online classes with in-person connections and resources. These finalists will compete for up to $75,000 in funding, and they need YOUR HELP to take home the prize.
Join us at CCAD’s Canzani Auditorium for an evening of high-octane networking, (free) libations, and the chance to see history in the making. Tickets are FREE!

5:30-6:30: Impact Showcase
Get up close and personal with SEA Change’s 12 Columbus companies! The Impact Showcase will be an interactive opportunity to meet each company’s founders and see their products in action. While you mingle, enjoy beverages and light hors d’oeuvres from some of Columbus’ tastiest social enterprises–Hot Chicken Takeover, FUSIAN, Bottoms Up Coffee, and Firefly Sweet Treats.
6:30-9:00: SEA Change Finalist Pitches and Awards
See the top six SEA Change finalists take the stage and compete to win $75k in funding! Each company will have seven minutes to pitch, and we’ll save a few minutes for Q&A afterward. After our six finalists have presented, cast your vote for the Crowd Favorite, which will be determined in real-time through Billion’s crowdfunding platform.
9:00–?: Happy Hour at The Walrus*
The pressure’s off and the party’s on! Grab an informal drink with innovators from across the Ohio startup ecosystem to celebrate SEA Change’s summer cohort and ring in the
August 19-20. Metered street parking is available on Main Street and surrounding streets.
*While the Happy Hour isn’t a formalized part of the programming, we would love to see you there!
