Optimizing the impact of data and analytics on a business’s operations, financial performance and competitive differentiation has made great progress, but in may ways is still early in its journey. As we have made progress, developed more sophisticated models. and gathered and mined greater amounts of data, we are now encountering new challenges to turn that data into actionable insights. We have known from the beginning that true optimization requires a careful blending of analytics-production IT-business areas.  If any one of these is underrepresented, huge amounts of beneficial impact are sacrificed. The key to this union lies in the analytics engine layer to integrate.

Dr. Robert Grossman, a legend in analytics, has recently launched the capability that addresses just this critical need. As a member of the faculty of the University of Chicago, and being a serial entrepreneur in this space, Dr. Grossman has a message we should all embrace.
