Please join the Marysville Entrepreneurial Center (MEC) and the Ohio SBDC of Columbus State for free professional business advisory services to assist you in creating, developing or growing your small business. 

 You may “drop in” to meet with the Ohio SBDC to discuss your business the first Tuesday of each month between 10 am – 1 pm.  You may set an appointment for other dates by calling <a>614-895-9691</a> or emailing mbowers3@cscc.edu.

 The SBDC works with entrepreneurs and small business owners seeking assistance in growing and building their businesses. They offer an integrated combination of consulting, advising and educational programming that has been developed to support the business management and technical assistance needs of the Central Ohio small business and entrepreneurial community. The business coaching process includes assessment of the current business position, identification of challenges impeding growth and the development of an implementation plan to advance the business forward. Evaluation of funding needs, financing options, selection of lender, investor or alternative funding source and assistance with loan packaging in partnership with lender is one of many business growth services provided.

Michael Bowers, is a business advisor and Director of the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Columbus State. Michael works closely with entrepreneurs and business owners assisting them in building their companies. He has a diverse business skill set with experience in banking, private equity, strategic planning, digital media and marketing.

The MEC is conveniently located in the heart of historic Uptown Marysville at 129 N Main Street, Marysville, Ohio. The MEC is easily accessible to visitors arriving from anywhere in Union County and the Columbus Region.

There is on-street parking (2-hr limit) in front of the MEC, along N Main St., as well as around the corner on 4th St., and a Civic Parking Lot located at the corner of 4th and Plum Streets, one block from the facility.
