Follow the journey of a fictional technology startup, as they struggle to keep up with increasing infrastructure demands of their unexpectedly popular web application. Starting with a single manually deployed instance in a single region, and watch as the project grows across multiple regions, and ultimately to a globally distributed application in 14 AWS datacenters around the world. Attendees will help with the ‘load testing’ of a distributed application, and observe responses from all over the world. Learn how to deploy and manage infrastructure as code, using familiar tools such as text editor of choice, Git, Jenkins, and AWS Cloudformation.
