Okay so it’s not shocking at all. Docker while more secure than it used to be, needs some help, especially from an operational perspective. David Mortman will cover where Docker has been, where it’s going and what you need to do to safely use it — especially in production.
David MortmanĀ has been doing Information Security for 20+ years. He is currently Chief Security Architect and Distinguished Engineer at Dell Enstratius, as well as a Contributing Analyst at Securosis. Most recently, he was the Director of Security and Operations at C3. Previously, Mortman was the CISO at Siebel Systems and the Manager of Global Security at Network Associates. He speaks regularly at Blackhat, Defcon, RSA and other conferences. Additionally, he blogs at emergentchaos.com, newschoolsecurity.com and securosis.com. He sits on a variety of advisory boards, including Qualys, Lookout and Virtuosi. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago.Ā
