Description:
Demystifying the internet beyond the cloud
With the advent of cloud computing services in the last decade deploying a website or internet-connected solution to a global audience in 2019 is easier than ever. While it is easy to deploy a website with a few cloud compute instances behind an elastic load balancer, there is still a significant amount of physical internet infrastructure between your customers and your web server. This talk focuses on what the internet infrastructure looks like beyond the cloud and gives a brief introduction to how the internet works in 2019.
