Our Speaker
David Stacy is a committed generalist who has avoided specialization for 20+ years in the IT world. Dave first started working in System Administration in 1998 as a MS Windows MCSE. After many years in Windows, Unix, Linux, Storage Systems, System Administration, Dave applied his skills in being lazy and automating everything to bringing devops methodology to Seapine Software, Roadtrippers, and Cordata before joining AWS.

At AWS Dave become an expert at cloud migration projects and developed a methodology to migrate 50 apps in 50 days that has been used at Honeywell, NAB, and DXC. Most recently, Dave worked with an AWS team to launch a new program to coordinate management and governance products in the cloud as the Well Architected Management and Governance Lens announced in December 2020.
Dave has lived in Cincinnati for most of his professional life with his wife and two children. He made the best of 2020 by working toward his pilot’s license and soloed in a Piper Cub J3 in October.
