Join Zack, a local cyber security practitioner, for a demonstration and walkthrough of exploiting a vulnerable web server. This talk has been designed to be accessible to technical and non-technical folks alike and technical concepts will be thoroughly but simply explained.
The purpose of this exercise is to reinforce the importance of vulnerability management and basic configuration hardening. During this session you will learn the basics of nmap, dirbuster, netcat, searchsploit, privilege exploitation scripts, as well as tips and tricks for securing your servers.
