Here in Central Ohio, Inclusive Entrepreneurship is a built-in extension of our Backyard Effect. For example, last year, nearly 30 percent of Rev1’s portfolio companies were women and/or minority led. Learn about the initiatives and opportunities right here in Central Ohio that leverage the assets in our own backyard to connect diverse talent to the startup ecosystem.
We’ll uncover the full potential and opportunity of Inclusive Entrepreneurship in our region in a panel discussion with these community leaders:
o Charles Hill, Director of Community Outreach, moderator: In his role with Rev1, Charles is focused on connecting the diverse organizations in the region to support startups.
o <BLK Hack>, whose mission it is to fill the deficit of black minorities in the technical field
o i.c.stars | *Columbus, a powerhouse that gives bright, committed young adults who face bleak futures, the opportunity to develop advanced IT skills
o Bunker Labs-Columbus, the first expansion location of this national network of entrepreneurs founded by military veterans to help other veterans start and grow business
o TBD – an organization committed to advancing women’s leadership and business growth.

Charles Hill, Rev1 director of community outreach, leads Rev1’s efforts to leverage the region’s willingness to support entrepreneurs through cohesive partnerships. He also engages to expand inclusive entrepreneurship across our region.
