*** About Paul Cornwell ***
Paul Cornwell is an experienced, hands-on software architect specializing in the design and implementation of microservice and service-oriented architectures. He has spent much of his career building a wide array of cloud-based solutions for web, mobile, voice and more. Paul prides himself on staying on the forefront of technology and has worked on bleeding edge tech in areas such as voice, artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data.
After completing his Computer Science education at Kent State University, he spent the early part of his career honing his skills as a programmer/analyst and web interface developer for a large subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company in the early e-commerce days. Paul’s later experience working with companies such as Verizon, Ellucian, Streamlinx, Complete Genomics, Turning Technologies and others has afforded him the opportunity to work with the top talents in tech. Over the past few years, he has focused his efforts on the fast-paced startup world and has architected several successful platforms including Voice Metrics, Pixsi and Seamless.AI, in addition to other work for a variety of software startups along the way.
A tinkerer and learner by nature, Paul is always looking for the next frontier. Right now, he believes this to be the voice technology space and, specifically, the convergence of voice assistants and business.
