AT&T and TECH CORPS present Girls of Color Hack #Cbus – Register Today!
The Girls of Color Hack #CBus coding event will give Franklin County high school girls the opportunity to learn about computer science in a fun, engaging and inclusive environment. Over the course of the experience, girls will learn how to utilize MIT App Inventor to explore the world of mobile app development and create a real- world app that tackles a need or problem. Girls will also have an opportunity to meet and work with other female coders, technology leaders and advocates.
Date: December 8 & 9, 2017
Time: Friday, 6p-9p and Saturday, 9a-6p (Food will be provided)
Where: Franklin University
Eligibility: This opportunity is open to young women in Franklin County, in grades 9-12. While prior coding experience is great, we welcome young women of all experience levels to apply.
