I am excited to have Christoph back again. He and I did the first meetup (https://www.meetup.com/The-Columbus-Blockchain/) for this group. He will be talking about a very common problem people face when building dApps – getting data off blockchains is hard.
Any dApp would need a way to get and transform data from underlying data sources. While the Blockchain is an exciting technology, getting information out of it in a manner that is human-friendly is painful at best. We’ll explore The Graph (https://thegraph.com/), and exciting new technology that offers a GraphQL layer on top of the Ethereum Blockchain. We’ll create some graphs against some live Contracts and explore ways to integrate them into some applications.
