On Friday, January 13th from 7 to 9:30pm, we are hosting our Franklinton Friday Open House, Cat-Stravaganza at the STEAM Factory. We will be hosting the wonderful folks from Colony Cats who are bringing cats that you can meet, play with, and adopt! In addition, we also have interactive Ohio State faculty presentations and activities. Our presenters include the following Ohio State faculty members:
Dr. Rob Pyatt (Assistant Professor of Pathology) and his son, Rory, who will share their volunteer experiences and discuss the importance of service. Special guest Joelle Nielsen (The Ohio State University Veterinary School) who will talk about her interesting work as a Veterinary Social worker. Our resident art educator, Mindi Rhoades (Assistant Professor of Teaching & Learning) who will lead a “Make your own cat toy” art project.
