FranklinHack is a two-day programming contest for Ohio community college students. Gather teammates to compete in a virtual hackathon that will seek apps designed for a community need.
Teams must build a web application addressing the theme announced Friday evening. By the Sunday morning deadline, teams must submit 1) a link to their app, 2) a link to a 5-7 minute video describing their app, their inspiration, and their process, and 3) complete a short questionnaire.
Kick Off & Theme Announcement: Friday, March 26, 7:00pm EST
Projects Due: Sunday, March 28, 9:00am EST
Awards Ceremony: Sunday, March 28, 7:00pm EST
Team Members of the Top 3 Teams will win Scholarship Prizes to Franklin University!
1st place: Full Tuition for 2 years
2nd & 3rd place: Half Tuition for 2 years
*Prizes are redeemable to any student who chooses to pursue a four-year degree at Franklin University after completion of their associate’s degree.
