FALL CS EDUCATION MEETUP

Topic: Why is CS education important? How can I connect with the CS professional community?

Date: October 12, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm Official RSVP Here

Note: Fuse is inside the retail strip, you may park anywhere.

Who’s coming? We started with a simple question: “What opportunities does computer science offer students?”

On October 12, you’ll meet CS professionals from industry, university and government as they answer this question, share their experiences, and discuss how to effectively support #CSforall.

These professionals will answer questions like: What does a computer science job look like and feel like? How does computer science help you solve everyday problems facing our community?

Ask all of your burning questions – and the questions students ask you!

Who should come?

School and education leaders (principals, counselors, others) K-12 teachers teaching CS or interested in teaching CS CS professionals willing to share their real world experiences

Can I share this? Yes, please! Share the with others you know would be interested.

What should I wear? Casual and we mean jeans are a go. A tie may be frowned upon!

How about food? Fuse is sponsoring the Fall Meetup and will be providing light appetizers and beverages.
