To launch our new DIY Microscope fundraiser, we will be hosting an in person tutorial, where you can come build a microscope stand for your smart phone with the help of the Cap City Biohackers. We will supply multiple types of specimen for you to magnify (up to 175X) with your smart phone, including animal and plant cells; however feel free to bring whatever you are curious about. All proceeds will go towards building a community wet lab space here in Columbus, OH.
