Part of Innovate New Albany‘s TIGER Workshops Series:

It doesn’t take a graphic designer to understand the importance of high-quality, professional graphics to represent your brand. Whether your company is small, large, or just getting off the ground, your business cards, website photos, and even your Facebook banner can have a monumental impact on current and potential clients, influencing whether or not they view your company as legitimate or amateur.

During this hands-on, interactive workshop, we will be delving into resources and techniques that can enhance your brand’s visual identity without the need to hire a designer off the bat.

Each attendee will walk away with skills or knowledge in three distinct areas:

• The basics of Photoshop (and how to design a stunning Facebook cover)

• Finding the right stock photography in a legal, cost-effective manner

Utilizing FREE, simple, web-based design software to create flyers, posters, slide decks, etc. in minutes

Please be sure to bring a laptop to this workshop. You do not have to have Photoshop or any other photo editing software; we will be downloading the free trial version of Photoshop at the beginning of the workshop.

To answer this need, Sam started Malik Media, a creative media and marketing company, in early 2016 in order to help startups, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofits increase client outreach by developing unique and consistent visual brand identities that appeal to target demographics and industries.

When Sam isn’t busy on Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, you can find him listening to music (at way too high a volume) or capturing moments behind his Nikon lenses.
