What is DevOps? Is it a person, a set of tools, a culture or a set of practices? Would you recognize it if you saw it?
Maybe it’s easier to talk about what DevOps isn’t. DevOps isn’t about adding new tools to your existing way of working. DevOps isn’t about rebranding your system administrators and calling it DevOps. DevOps isn’t a title or a team.
For most organizations, defining DevOps is tricky. The implementation of DevOps can vary between organizations, but the same anti-patterns exist. Lastly, we’ll talk about how DevOps is implemented at BOLD PENGUIN and why it’s fundamental to the work that we do.
