DATA VIZ MEETUP MOVING TO FACEBOOK GROUP

HI all Data Viz meetup members, It has come time to say goodbye to meetup.com and move the group to Facebook. we have 1200 members and the reason we do is that they want to talk with each other and teach each other and make connections and get help with data viz stuff and all the other neat things … and it is just too hard to do that on meetup.com. we have had some great meetings in the past but meeting in person has become too dangerous. When it becomes safe again we can take the facebook group people and reform a new meetup group if we want later but for now please join the new facebook group.

Yes, I know that some of you hate facebook…but we will be able to do so much more together there than here. I have had some amazing conversations with people there in the last few weeks and I want to do that with you and everybody else. I have been with meetup for over 10 years so it is a sad thing for me too.
