Speaker Bio:
Grant Schneider leads the brand new HQ2 in Columbus for Upstart, the leading AI lending platform. He spent five years working on Upstart’s data science team in the Silicon Valley building models to extend credit to borrowers overlooked by traditional credit scoring.
Since moving back last year, Grant has been hyper-focused on growing the Columbus office to 150+ while maintaining Upstart’s unique culture with a Columbus spin. Grant received his bachelor’s, master’s and PhD from The Ohio State University, and is co-author of the book “Intuitive Introductory Statistics.”
