Summer Camp (Girls go to Mars)
Event Overview:
Venue: The Wellington School
Date: July 24th – 28th, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
Target Audience: Grades 6 – 8
Fee: $260
Begin your interspace exploration with the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland. You will learn about the terrain, climate, and many other aspects of Mars that make the planet the same as and different from Earth. You will also work on teambuilding with your fellow astronauts and complete engineer training to prepare you for the challenges you might face in space. During the second half, be surprised by how exciting and creative coding can be! CoolTechGirls will show you how to make your own website using HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript.

Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to girls who otherwise would not be able to participate in
Girls to go Mars 2017 Summer Camp. Please apply by May 31st, 2017.
