Juan Alvarez will provide an introduction to Conscious Leadership, why is it relevant for the entrepreneurial world, and how business leaders are applying the principles of conscious leadership to create profitable, purposeful and happy companies. He will also describe the positive impact that Conscious Leadership is having on the lives of entrepreneurs.
Born in Spain, Juan Alvarez started his career as an entrepreneur at age 19, when he took over his family business – a group of companies in the automotive industry – after the passing of this father. Over the past 20 years, he has been leading several companies in different countries and industries. He moved to the US in 2009 to be the Managing Director for North America, South America and Caribbean with Albasolar a global distributor of solar energy equipment based in Boston. Previously he held several leadership positions with OVB, the largest financial consulting group in Europe and was the Managing Partner for an international marketing consulting company that he co-founded with a friend. He holds a certification as a professional coach from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).
Juan proudly became an American citizen a year ago and lives in Columbus where he coaches leaders to develop their conscious leadership skills and teaches meditation to companies and individuals.
