Looking for ways to engage more students? Or maybe you have some students who are eager for more CS opportunities?
Join us to discover the various CS opportunities that are available for students.
We are so excited to be joined on May 2nd by industry, university and nonprofits who offer afterschool programs and competitions to students. Learn more about their programs and how to get your students involved. Connect with other educators to share your own experiences.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
K-12 teachers teaching CS or interested in teaching CS
School and education leaders (principals, counselors, etc)
CS leaders willing to share afterschool CS opportunities available to students
(Feel free to share this invite with others you know would be interested)
DRESS
Casual (and we mean jeans are a go!). A tie may be frowned upon!
AGENDA
6:00-6:30: Networking with snacks
6:30-7:30 Highlighted opportunities from industry, university and non-profit CS leaders
7:30-8:00: Additional networking
Battelle, in partnership with the STEAM Factory and NCWIT, are sponsoring the Spring Meetup and will be providing light snacks.
