Presentation:
Data Science: You Aren’t Gonna Need It.

Abstract:
Data science is the newest buzzword floating around, but what does it look like in practice? How do you build and scale a successful data science team? Do you really need data science? In this talk, we will give an overview of what a data science group does and will demonstrate what a day in the life of a data scientist looks like, accompanied with interactive examples. We will also address common questions around how, when, and why to start a data science team, and how to develop a successful data science strategy for your organization.
