Abstract:
How are we working together? Using GitHub, teams today are collaborating and building code together. Using GitHub’s robust API, with the power of open source technologies, we can study the way in which we’re collaborating together.
How are teams collaborating on Pull Requests?Who are your team’s most active contributors?Who are your organization’s most diverse contributors?
We’ll use the power of these questions to use GitHub to see how our team is working together, and how we can showcase this data in meaningful ways.

As a Solutions Engineer at GitHub, I work with organizations and their teams to bring the power of GitHub and developer collaboration into their software development life-cycle. Previous to GitHub, I spent the last 5 years in Finance, working with Hedge Funds, Banks, and Software Vendors. I am constantly excited by building tools for data-analytics, and using those tools as a means for collaboration and cultural change.
