We’re trying a new thing! Once a quarter we’ll host a career development focused event, where you can learn about what’s new in the UX job landscape, build skills, network, and gain experience aimed at helping you succeed in the job market. This event is the first of four we plan to host this year. The hope is that you can take what you learn in these events, apply them to your every day, and then build your career. Come and check it out; the more feedback we have, the more we can tailor the events and workshops to better serve you.

Event description:
Are you looking for a new job and need to brush up on your interviewing skills? New to UX and wondering where to get started? Not new to UX but want to know what other companies are looking for in candidates? Curious what UX hiring managers are looking for in candidates and portfolios? Wondering if resumes are a thing of the past? Great news, we know some folks who have insights into these questions and more! We’ll give the floor to several experienced, local UX leaders from a wide range of company types – from startup to corporate, agency, and more – and give you the opportunity to learn and get your questions answered.

A huge thank you to Brooksource and Calculated Hire for providing food and beverages for this event!
