Contract opening in Tucson, AZ for a  Lab Assistant / Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and servicing diagnostics lab equipment or slide scanning and maintaining scanning and other diagnostics lab equipment.

Key Skills Desired:

• Previous experience with equipment maintenance
• Experience with hand tools
• Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public (e.g., retail, restaurant, banking, or other service field)
• Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks.

The Opportunity

• Support laboratory experiments and research activities
• Prepare lab materials and samples for testing
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
• Assist with data collection and documentation
• Maintain lab inventory and equipment

Who You Are

• 2-5 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices

Preferred (Optional)

• Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred
