This is a cross post from the AWS Columbus Meetup: https://www.meetup.com/columbus-aws-amazon-web-services-meetup/events/288206521/
Securing applications in the cloud can either be a little or a lot different to a data center depending upon the cloud services used. There has also been a shift in responsibilities as developers build and deploy applications without relying on an infrastructure team to provision servers.
This session will be covering the different areas of security in the cloud and the many different and somewhat confusing services AWS has to manage security. It will also be discussing that shift in responsibilities and what you need to know if you are building for the cloud.
