Our client has a remote contract opportunity for a Senior Network Analyst who will be responsible for installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft Server software.

Senior Network Analyst Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates strong working knowledge of networking protocols, including IP schemes and routing protocols across firewalls in WAN/LAN/foreign networks.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and customer implementations with minimal supervision, meeting business timelines.
  • Demonstrates excellence in troubleshooting of data networking issues on local and foreign networks to help resolve issues, working with internal corporate IT teams, external customers and product vendors.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to use monitoring tools (such as Nagios) to help manage LAN/WAN connections.
  • Ability to write detailed technical solutions for knowledge base articles and provide training/mentoring to other team members on solutions.

Senior Network Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conceptual understanding of data packet routing for data networks and voice networks.
  • Responsible for installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of Citrix Server software, including the ability to sequence and package applications.
  • Monitors VoIP networks and escalates any issues with internal corporate IT team and/or external vendors.
  • Continually monitors business needs to make recommendations and/or build innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all internal corporate teams and external customers.
  • Works on assigned helpdesk tickets, providing updates as needed and monitors his/her queue throughout the day.
  • Takes escalations issues from other team members or as assigned by the Manager.
  • Provide after hours on-call support to all supported businesses on a rotating basis.
