Please join us for our monthly meetup where Jackie Gleason shall present on Angular2 Routing.

One of the bedrocks of Angular development, since the beginning, has been routes. However, in the Angular 1 world they felt very limited–enter Angular Router v2. In this presentation we will take a look at the sort of patterns being followed in modern Angular projects. We will define the different parts of a route-based project, and use those to create a robust and simple platform. The main topics will revolve around some of the more opaque concepts in terms of documentation. We will start with creating a route module and why that is handy, then the presentation will move on to guards, and finally child routes. Finally, the presentation will conclude with a SWAT-style analysis of the opinionated practices. Come learn what has and what hasn’t changed with routes in Angular 2.
